Healthcare spending in Canada:

In 2006, Canada spent an estimated CAD148bn on health services. Health care spending accounted for 10.3% of the country’s GDP. Spending on hospitals was highest which amounted to CAD44bn followed by retail sales of drugs (CAD25bn) and physician services (CAD19bn).
