According to OPEC march 2009 bulletin, the total short positions contracts for crude oil were 208,000 contracts in February 2009 as compared to 172,000 contracts in January 2009. The total open interest contracts for crude oil reached 1,225,000 in February 2009 as compared to 1,211,000 contracts in January 2009.
