Indian REITs likely to capture 5% of the total real estate market size by 2010
The world listed real estate market which is expected to reach USD 1400 billion in 2010 is likely to see India capture 5% of its market according to a joint paper prepared by the ASSOCHAM and CRISIL. The paper titled “Indian REITs : Are We Prepared” says that Indian REIT would reach a size of USD 70 billion in 2010 as the concept of REIT gains ground in the country.
