IDC reports worldwide notebook PC shipments at 109 million numbers in 2007

According to a report published by IDC, around 109 million notebook PCs were shipped worldwide in 2007, a growth of 33% compared to 2006. Hewlett-Packard? (HP) took the lead among notebook vendors with worldwide shipments of 23.3 million units in 2007, while Acer and Dell shipped 15.42 and 15.29 million units respectively.
